Dental cleaning or scaling is generally recommeded every 6 months.  However each patient is assessed individually and recommendations are made based on their degree of gum health.

Some patients may need to be seen every three or four months depending on our findings.

For patients who suffer with tobacco/ red wine staining, we offer air polishing which removes stains from the teeth quickly through a combination of air and fine powder particles, this service is also particularly suitable for orthodontic patients.

Patients with more complex dental restorations (implants, crowns etc) may wish to avail of maintenance appointments to protect their investment.  Some patients may wish to avail of local anaesthetic for their hygiene appointment.

We also have installed state of the art equipment, and have the ability to heat the water in the dental unit for your comfort.
